Expression of Interest for Pre-Qualification

for Joint Venture/Partnership with Pakistan Railways Management & Up-Gradation of Pakistan Railways Hospitals.

Pakistan Railways is desirous of upgrading the existing setup of Railways Hospitals to the level for teaching hospital through Public Private Partnership. The locations of the Railways Hospitals are as under:

• Railways Hospital, Peshawar

• Railways Hospital, Malikwal

• Railways Hospital, Bahawal Nagar

• Railways Hospital, Kohat

• Railways Hospital, Sargodha

• Railways Hospital, Quetta

Pakistan Railways invites expression of interest for pre-qualification from qualified, capable, reputed and financially sound national/international organizations as joint venture project. Pre-qualifying offers of suitable firms are sought through this advertisement for submitting detailed technical and financial proposals. The interested parties with relevant experience should submit their applications on plain paper to prove their credentials which should initially include the following information/documents.

The party offering for this affiliation should:

1. Furnish organizational structure with registered official address and particulars of directors/key personnel of the firm/consortium.

2. Proof of Registration of organization with PM&DC.

3. Details of experience in the relevant field during last 3 years within and outside Pakistan, giving name(s) of the projects/hospitals.

4. Financial standing including audited balance sheets for last 3 years and bank reference.

5. Similar details of such joint venture project(s), if any, in hand.

6. One page C.V. of doctors/professionals/key personnel in the fields of surgery, physicians, specialists, administration, finance, marketing etc.

7. Complete details of existing set-up along with list of available medical equipments, infrastructure, fleet of ambulances etc.

8. An MoU signed between the firms/parties forming the Consortium.

Applications for pre-qualification in sealed covers along with payment of Rs. 10,000/- (Processing fee. Non-refundable) through a Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of FA & CAO (M&S), Pakistan Railways, Lahore should be submitted to the office listed below within two weeks after publication in press.

Any application received after this date and time will not be entertained.

Pakistan Railways reserves the right to reject all or any of the offers without assigning any reason what so ever.
