SMEDA is a statutory body working under the Ministry of Industries, Production and Special Initiatives, responsible for the growth and development of Small and Medium Enterprises. SMEDA has its head office in Lahore and regional offices in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and 20 Regional Business Centers nation wide. We are focused on providing services to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan.

Gujranwala Business Center (GBC) is an initiative of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA) and Gujranwala Chambers of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and is being funded by Public Sector Development Program (PSDP), Government of Pakistan, to promote products made in Gujranwala.

Project Director (Gujranwala Business Center):

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Execution of Project.
• Overall Operations of the Project 
• Budgeting and Planning 
• Marketing of the Project 
• Working closely with Stakeholders
• Compliance with International Standards
• Overall Monitoring of the Project to achieve Targets

The candidate should Masters Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance from a HEC recognized Pakistani or foreign University, between 36-50 years of age, with atleast 10 years of experience in project design and implementation management, preferably in business development and has worked at senior levels in institutions engaged in promoting such ventures. Should have strong analytical, report writing and communication skills, well-developed work ethics and practical solutions. Should have creativity, resourcefulness and strong interpersonal skills, including strong client orientation, ability to work productivity and harmoniously in a team environment, he/she should have ability to mobilize resources in a constrained environment, work under pressure of light deadlines and a previous track record of excellence as a Team Leader.
